Description:
ARTIC is envisioned to be a world-class transportation gateway and urban centerpiece to Anaheim’s Platinum Triangle. The 16-acre site will provide a synergistic and integrated mix of land uses, a safe and inviting pedestrian experience, beautiful and lively activity center and strong connectivity to existing entertainment and sports venues (i.e., Honda Center, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, the Anaheim Convention Center, Disneyland). The transit station is designed to the LEED Platinum level. Future land uses may include retail, entertainment, office, civic, hospitality, and residential uses. Build-out of ARTIC will accommodate California High-Speed Rail, California/Nevada Super Speed Train, Metrolink and Amtrak trains, in addition to various modes of ground transportation. When completed, this major transit gateway will connect Orange County outward to other areas in California and the United States. ARTIC is anticipated to be implemented in multiple phases over the next 20 years.
