Description:
The City of Alexandria is a growing and progressive city located in the geographic center of Louisiana and on the banks of the Red River. This redevelopment project is a public / private partnership that addresses the concerns of the downtown revitalization while providing the City with a sustainable and vibrant entertainment destination. The high quality urban design masterplan incorporates vision and placemaking design principles that will enhance the quality of life for the residents of Alexandria.

The masterplan includes the creation and shaping of Alexandria’s built environment and downtown district including the Convention Center, Historic Bentley Hotel, Fulton Hotel, Civic Center, Infrastructure, and other critical areas.
