Description:
UC Irvine currently has over 27,000 enrolled students with nearly 2,000 faculty members. Vista Del Campo Norte is the second phase in a privately owned and managed, on-campus, apartment style student housing community serving undergraduate and unmarried, graduate students. Buildings are oriented to the “Great Street” or central courtyards activated by patios and balconies that promote social interaction among residents. The recreation and leasing center provides a “front door” to the undergraduate village and features an Internet cafe and lounge overlooking the barbeque court and pool deck. A separate community building planned around a private courtyard and equipped with meeting rooms, a full kitchen, and multimedia center, serves graduate residents. Units are fully furnished and equipped with full kitchens and private or shared bedrooms and bathrooms. Students are within walking or biking distance to shopping, dining, recreation and public transportation, in addition to a campus bus shuttle that runs during the academic year.
