Description:

This community center for 1,200 students is located at the heart of the Camino del Sol undergraduate neighborhood. “theLodge” provides the primary gathering place, management office and activity hub. It is a one stop facility for all resident life needs. Easily accessible to bike paths and pedestrian walks along with convenient parking and shuttle bus stop the building acts as the neighborhood icon. “The Lodge” architecture evokes the ultimate southern California lifestyle designed by Greene & Green’s bungalow craftsman homes of the last century. There is nothing old when it comes to bandwidth and entertainment; this complex provides lightning fast internet access for research, class connectivity or gaming for downtime relaxation. Outdoor rooms include cabanas, fireplace “living room” under the awnings or the mega outdoor kitchen with the water table and entertainment center.
