Description:
This 1.85 acre infill site is located in a formerly industrial section on the outskirts of Historic Old Town Alexandria. The architecture was designed as three unique brick faced buildings that were built in phases, and to reflect three distinct contexts surrounding this city block. Currently in construction, the project consists of 280 rental units, a clubhouse and leasing facility over 2 stories of below grade parking yielding a density of 150 units/acre. A new provision in the building code allowed the building to be built as 5 story wood construction.
