Description:
UC Irvine currently has over 27,000 enrolled students with nearly 2,000 faculty members. Vista Del Campo is a privately owned and managed, on-campus, apartment style student housing community serving undergraduate and unmarried graduate students. The Community promotes a “Village” concept planned around a wide pedestrian and bike promenade or “Great Street” which links the housing clusters to each other and to the central clubhouse. A campus shuttle stop is located at the main clubhouse and student center plaza. Active and passive open spaces such as the main pool and spa courtyard, basketball court, and barbeque areas act as focal points of student activity and interaction. Parking is provided on-site, in open, landscaped lots providing adequate buffer from Culver Drive and to the residential neighborhoods to the east in addition to keeping vehicular traffic out of the Great Street.
