Description:
A 150-unit, four-story “special needs” senior apartment community features a community center that provides leisure, health and business needs with lobby/lounge, media room, kitchen, fitness center, computer and pool. As a result of research into to the varied levels of interaction for seniors with special needs, the design responds with over two dozen “activity” areas allowing residents to gather in groups as small as two and as large as 200.
