Description:
The Nordhoff Plaza project was comprised of the conversion of an abandoned Levitz Furniture showroom and warehouse into a multi-tenant retail building and parking structure. The existing warehouse was Type I construction, and the showroom was steel frame with tilt-up exterior walls. The warehouse structure was revised to accommodate the ramping needed for structured parking, while the exterior concrete walls were retained. The showroom space was opened up to allow for multi-tenant subdivision. Within that space, tenant improvements were completed for a single level 45,000 SF Best Buy electronics store, a two level LA Fitness (with locker rooms, showers, and swimming pool), and a single level office supply store. Additional retail space is untenanted at this time.
