Description:
The Scripps Ranch Center is the renovation and modernization of a 1906’s era neighborhood center in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego. The project goal was to maintain the “ranch” aesthetic with an updated expression within a limited budget. The scope included extensive repair of age damage to wood siding and structure, new column base structures, new storefront, roofing, façade additions to create more individual identity for the buildings, addition of an outdoor patio area, and renovation/reorientation of the parking areas. Vertical façade elements were added on several buildings to provide more visibility to the adjacent freeway.
