Description:
‘The District’ at Mountain Bridge in Beaumont, California, plans to be part of a much larger, horizontally mixed-use community reaching 200-300 acres. It is a ‘hybrid’ development combining aspects of a ‘Main Street’ experience, Lifestyle Center, and a larger box ‘Power Center’ This really brings a ‘pedestrian-oriented’ experience to tie in with the residential development to the west, while also providing the convenience of larger tenants and department stores. The center spine of the development really becomes the heart of the project, styled with more of a rural, ‘small-town’ Main Street feel reflective of the agricultural communities nearby and historic Beaumont. This ‘Main Street’ spine then finishes into a ‘Lifestyle Center’ with an anchor tenant on the corner, and a cinema at the end with boutique shops in between. In all, this development will total over a million square feet over approximately 85 acres.
